Microsoft Windows WebDAV Mini-Redirector buffer overflow
| win-webdav-miniredirector-bo (40062) |
Description:
The Microsoft Windows WebDAV Mini-Redirector component is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of pathname checksum values. By created specially-crafted path names on an Apache Web server and persuading a victim to access a WebDAV component on that server, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
