Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader unspecified JavaScript method buffer overflow
| adobe-unspecified-javascript-bo (40410) |
Description:
Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader are vulnerable to multiple stack-based buffer overflows, caused by improper bounds checking by multiple unspecified JavaScript methods. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted .PDF file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the victim or cause the application to crash.
