Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader EScript.api code execution
| adobe-escriptapi-code-execution (40424) |
Description:
Adobe Reader could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, caused by an insecure method in the JavaScript implementation used by the EScript.api plugin. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted .PDF file, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to corrupt memory and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the victim or cause the application to crash.
