Description:
dnssec tools could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by the improper verification of data using a malformed APEX trust anchor key by the libval library. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass dnssec security checks.
Platforms Affected:
- SourceForge, dnssec tools prior to 1.3.2
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of dnssec tools (1.3.2 or later), available from SourceForge.net: Files. See References.
