GNOME Evolution emf_multipart_encrypted() format string
| evolution-emfmultipart-format-string (41011) |
Description:
GNOME Evolution could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a format string error in the emf_multipart_encrypted() function while displaying data in the Version: field. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted email message containing malicious format specifiers, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
