BFup ActiveX Control buffer overflow

Description:
The BFup ActiveX control (BFup.dll) is vulnerable to a buffer overflow. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page that passes an overly long argument to the FilePath property, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the user or cause the victim's browser to crash.
Platforms Affected:
- B21Soft, BFup ActiveX Control 1.0.308.19 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of BFup ActiveX Control (1.0.802.29 or later), available from the BFup Active Web site. See References.
