Linksys WRT54g router security bypass

Description:
The Linksys WRT54g router could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by the invoking of scripts without checking for valid credentials by the Web interface. By sending a direct request to multiple "tri" files, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access to the system and perform arbitrary administrative tasks.

Remedy:
For WRT54G wireless routers 5 and 6:
Upgrade to the latest firmware version of WRT54g (1.02.5 or later), available from the Linksys Web site. See References.
For WRT54G wireless router 8:
Upgrade to the latest firmware version of WRT54g (8.00.5 or later), available from the Linksys Web site. See References.
For WRT54G wireless router 8.2:
Upgrade to the latest firmware version of WRT54g (8.2.05 or later), available from the Linksys Web site. See References.
