xine-lib Matroska demuxer buffer overflow
| xinelib-demuxer-bo (41172) |
Description:
xine-lib is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Matroska demuxer (demuxers/demux_matroska.c). By sending a specially-crafted Matroska file with invalid frame sizes, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
