McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Framework Service format string

mcafee-framework-format-string (41178) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a format string vulnerability in logDetail function of applib.dll within the Framework Service. If the debug level is set to 8, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted AgentWakeup request containing malicious format specifiers in the malformed "sender" field to UDP port 8082 to execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable system and cause the service to crash.
