ZABBIX server zabbix_agentd denial of service
| zabbix-zabbixagentd-dos (41196) |
Description:
ZABBIX server is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an implementation error in the vfs.file.cksum command in zabbix_agentd. By sending a specially-crafted request using multiple vfs.file.cksum commands to the TCP port 10050, a remote attacker connected to an authorized host could exploit this vulnerability to cause the agent to consume an overly large amount of CPU resources, forcing the system to hang.
