Description:

Multiple VMware products could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges, caused by an error in the authd process. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting the authd process to a malicious named pipe to execute arbitrary code on the system with LocalSystem privileges.
