Asterisk RTP payload buffer overflow
| asterisk-rtppayload-bo (41302) |
Description:
Asterisk is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the RTP payload handling code. By sending a specially-crafted INVITE or SIP packet with SDP containing an overly large payload, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and write a 0 into specific memory locations or possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.
