Apple Safari WebCore Web Inspector security bypass
| safari-webinspector-security-bypass (41331) |
Description:
Apple Safari could allow a remote attacker to bypass cross-domain security restrictions, caused by a vulnerability within the WebCore Web Inspector component. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web site, a remote attacker could bypass policy restrictions and allow injection of script that will run in other domains and read the victim's file system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to possibly perform cross-site scripting attacks and launch further attacks on the vulnerable system.
