Description:

xine-lib is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the sdpplin_parse() function. By persuading a victim to connect to a specially-crafted RTSP stream using an overly large "streamid" SDP parameter, a remote attacker could overwrite arbitrary memory regions and execute malformed code on the system.
