eGroupWare _bad_protocol_once() security bypass

Description:
eGroupWare could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by an error in the _bad_protocol_once() function. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a specially-crafted string containing URL protocols to bypass HTML filter restrictions.
Platforms Affected:
- eGroupWare, eGroupWare prior to 1.4.003
- Gentoo, Linux
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of eGroupWare (1.4.003 or later), available from the eGroupWare Web site. See References.
