| ibm-soliddb-solid-format-string (41485) |
Description:
IBM solidDB could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a format string vulnerability in the Solid Database Engine (solid.exe). By sending a specially-crafted packet containing malicious format specifiers to TCP port 1315, a remote attacker from within the local network could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable system and cause the service to crash.
