suPHP files privilege escalation
| suphp-files-privilege-escalation (41582) |
Description:
suPHP could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by a race condition error when creating a symbolic link to other files or directories on the system. By directing the symlink to a file of another user and then back to its own file, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute malicious scripts and gain elevated privileges on the system.
