Description:
Apple QuickTime is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of VR movies. By persuading a victim to view a malicious VR movie file containing am obji atom of zero size, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
