Description:
Secure Computing Webwasher, when running on certain Linux systems, is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. By sending a specially-crafted URL request, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the application to freeze. The device must be restarted to regain normal functionality.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Webwasher (6.6.3 build 3150 or 5.3.0 build 3159 or later), available from the Secure Computing Web site. See References.
