LinPHA map.main.class.php file include
| linpha-mapmainclass-file-include (41676) |
Description:
LinPHA could allow a remote attacker to include arbitrary files. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request to the map.main.class.php script using the maps_type parameter to specify a malicious file from the local system, which could allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information or execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable Web server.
Note: In order to exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code, the attacker would first be required to upload a malicious file or inject arbitrary commands into an existing file.

- CVE-2008-1856: plugins/maps/db_handler.php in LinPHA 1.3.3 and earlier does not require authentication for a settings action that modifies the configuration file, which allows remote attackers to conduct directory traversal attacks and execute arbitrary local files by placing directory traversal sequences into the maps_type configuration setting, and then sending a request to maps_view.php, which causes plugins/maps/map.main.class.php to use the modified configuration.
