Speex header buffer overflow
| speex-header-bo (41684) |
Description:
Speex, as used in multiple products, is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when processing headers. By sending a specially-crafted request via a user controlled field in the header of a hosted stream, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the application to crash..
