Autonomy KeyView foliosr.dll multiple buffer overflows

autonomy-keyview-foliosr-bo (41716) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

The Autonomy (formerly Verity) KeyView Folio Flat File speed reader (foliosr.dll), which is used in IBM Lotus Notes, Symantec Mail Security, and possibly other applications, is vulnerable to multiple stack-based buffer overflows. By persuading a victim to view a specially-crafted Folio Flat File using one of the affected file viewers, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the victim's application to crash.
