Adobe Flash navigateToURL function cross-site request forgery
| adobe-flash-navigatetourl-csrf (41718) |
Description:
Adobe Flash is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input when using the navigateToURL function to communicate with Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) services. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web site, a remote attacker could send a malformed SOAP request to a UPnP device to modify the IP address of the primary DNS server, perform cross-site scripting attacks, Web cache poisoning and other malicious activities.
