Autonomy KeyView kpagrdr.dll multiple buffer overflows
| autonomy-keyview-applix-multiple-bo (41721) |
Description:
The Autonomy (formerly Verity) KeyView Applix Presents reader (kpagrdr.dll), which is used in IBM Lotus Notes, Symantec Mail Security, and possibly other applications, is vulnerable to multiple stack and heap-based buffer overflows. By persuading a victim to view a specially-crafted Applix Graphics file using one of the affected file viewers, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the victim's application to crash.
