Sun Solaris floating point context switch implementation denial of service
| sun-solaris-floatingpoint-contextswitch-dos (41765) |
Description:
Sun Solaris is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an unspecified error in the floating point context switch implementation. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to terminate unknown arbitrary applications, cause data corruption when floating point operations are executed, compromise data integrity of unknown arbitrary applications, and compromise data integrity of applications on Solaris 10 that use libc(3LIB) functions memcpy(3C) or memset(3C) or memmove(3C).
