Description:
rsync is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by an integer overflow error when extended attribute (xattr) support is enabled. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using unknown attack vectors to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the application to crash.
