Description:
Linux kernel, when running on a 64-bit system, is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an integer overflow error in the hrtimer_forward function. By using a timer with a large expiry value that causes constant time expiration, a local attacker could cause the application to enter into an infinite loop resulting in a denial of service.
