CUPS image-png.c and image-zoom.c buffer overflow
| cups-imagepng-imagezoom-bo (41832) |
Description:
CUPS is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by an integer overflow in image-png.c and image-zoom.c. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted PNG file containing overly large width and height fields, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the application to crash.
