Description:
IBM DB2 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by db2dasrrm. By sending an overly long string to the DASPROF environment variable, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges or cause the application to crash.
