Description:
The Autonomy (formerly Verity) KeyView Viewer, which is used in IBM Lotus Notes, and possibly other applications, is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the Text mail (MIME) mimesr.dll file. By persuading a victim to view a specially-crafted email message containing a malformed Text mail (MIME) attachment using one of the affected file viewers, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the victim's application to crash.
