OpenOffice.org EMF buffer overflow
| openoffice-emf-bo (41861) |
Description:
OpenOffice.org is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when handling EMF files. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted EMF file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable system or cause the application to crash.
