Poppler CairoFont::create code execution

poppler-cairofont-code-execution (41884) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

poppler, as used in multiple applications, including Xpdf and kdegraphics, could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the improper handling of embedded fonts within PDF files by the CairoFont::create function. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted PDF file, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system or cause a denial of service.
