Description:

Borland InterBase is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the ibserver.exe service. By sending a specially-crafted 0x52 opcode request to TCP port 3050, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the service to crash.
