Imager image-based fill buffer overflow
| imager-imagefill-bo (41986) |
Description:
Imager is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when processing certain images containing an image-based fill. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted image file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the application to crash.
