Sophos Anti-Virus SSDT() denial of service
| sophos-ssdt-dos (42083) |
Description:
Sophos Anti-Virus is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input when handling arguments passed to the "NtCreateKey()" System Service Descriptor Table (SSDT) function. If the Runtime Behavioural Analysis setting is enabled, a local attacker could invoke the vulnerable function with specially-crafted arguments and cause a denial of service.
