Linux kernel fcntl_setlk() and close() denial of service

linux-kernel-fcntlsetlk-dos (42242) The risk level is classified as LowLow Risk

Description:

Linux kernel is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an error while preventing a race condition in the SMP system between the fcntl_setlk() and close() calls. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain reordered access to the descriptor table and file_lock structure of an inode and cause the kernel to crash.
