libid3tag field.c denial of service
| libid3tag-field-dos (42271) |
Description:
The libid3tag library is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an error in the field.c application. By parsing data using the ID3_FIELD_TYPE_STRINGLIST field that ends in '\0', an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the library to enter into an infinite loop and consume all available CPU resources resulting in a denial of service.
