libvorbis residue partition values buffer overflow
| libvorbis-residue-bo (42402) |
Description:
libvorbis is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by an integer overflow error when processing residue partition values. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted OGG file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
