Description:
CA ARCserve Backup could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, caused by improper validation of path data by caloggerd. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using log messages to append data to arbitrary files via directory traversal techniques, which could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
