Foxit Reader util.printf() buffer overflow
| foxitreader-utilprintf-bo (42531) |
Description:
Foxit Reader is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when parsing format strings containing malicious format specifiers in the util.printf() function. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted PDF file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
