BitKinex WebDAV and FTP clients directory traversal
| bitkinex-webdav-ftp-directory-traversal (42842) |
Description:
BitKinex could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by an error in the WebDAV and FTP clients. By persuading a victim to download a directory containing a file with "dot dot" sequences using forward-slash or backslash characters (../ or ..\) in the filename via the LIST or PROPFIND command, an attacker could traverse directories and write arbitrary files to the system.
