Description:
The Akamai Download Manager ActiveX control could allow a remote attacker to execute code on the system, caused by the improper validation of input when handling the "URL" parameter. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web site, a remote attacker could download and load an arbitrary file, which could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the victim.
