Description:

Apple QuickTime is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when handling Indeo video codec content. By persuading a victim to view a specially-crafted movie file containing malicious Indeo video codec content, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
