Description:

Apple QuickTime could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the improper handling of "file:" URLs containing malicious QuickTime content. By persuading a victim to play specially-crafted QuickTime content in QuickTime Player, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
