| annotationsdk-activex-annosavetotiff-bo (42982) |
Description:
The Annotation SDK ActiveX control (BiAnno.ocx) is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the AnnoSaveToTiff method. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web page that passes an overly long argument to the AnnoSaveToTiff method, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the application to crash.
