Description:

3D-FTP could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by an error in the FTP client. By persuading a victim to download a directory containing a file with "dot dot" sequences using forward-slash or backslash characters (../ or ..\) in the filename via the LIST or MLSD command, an attacker could traverse directories and write arbitrary files to the system.
