3D-FTP LIST and MLSD commands directory traversal
| 3dftp-list-mlsd-directory-traversal (43095) |
Description:
3D-FTP could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by an error in the FTP client. By persuading a victim to download a directory containing a file with "dot dot" sequences using forward-slash or backslash characters (../ or ..\) in the filename via the LIST or MLSD command, an attacker could traverse directories and write arbitrary files to the system.
