Description:
JSCAPE Secure FTP Applet could allow a remote attacker to spoof valid servers, caused by improper verification of certificates when a secure session is initiated. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using man-in-the-middle techniques to spoof certificates and redirect a user to a malicious Web site that would appear to be trusted. This could allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information that could be used to launch further attacks against the victim's system.
