IBM Tivoli Directory Server ldapadd denial of service
| tivoli-directory-ldapadd-dos (43465) |
Description:
IBM Tivoli Directory Server is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a double-free error while handling requests. By sending a specially-crafted request using ldapadd, a remote attacker from within the local network could exploit this vulnerability to add the GlobalAdminGroup entry and crash the affected application.
Note: It is possible that an attacker with ldap administrative privileges could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
