Description:
Symantec pcAnywhere is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. A local or remote attacker can perform a TCP SYN scan on the vulnerable host to crash the service and cause it to stop responding.

Denial of Service
Remedy:
For pcAnywhere 9.0 and earlier: Upgrade to the latest version of pcAnywhere (9.01 or later). Contact Symantec for upgrade information.
