Apple Mac OS X User Template code execution

Description:
Apple Mac OS X could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the storing of malicious files with insecure permissions on the User Template directory that remain part of the home directory. By creating a new user using the User Template directory, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the new user.

Remedy:
Apply Apple Security Update 2008-004 or upgrade to the latest version of Mac OS X (10.5.4 or later), available from the Apple Web site. See References.
